Consent
Our services are suitable for people aged 
12 years and older. 

By booking an appointment with Expert Ear Wax Removal, you are requesting an accredited Audiologist attend your premises, to remove your ear wax by microsuction and/or curette.

Confirmation of your appointment is required to attend your premises.  If the attending Audiologist is unable to contact you to confirm, your appointment may be cancelled.

Minors and adults unable to competently consent to the treatment must be accompanied by their parent, guardian, responsible adult, or attorney.

Privacy Statement
We collect and store your personal information for the purposes of keeping clinical records, contacting you to confirm appointments, and attending your premises to perform the service.  We will never disclose your information to third parties, except with your permission (eg communicating with your doctor). 


Payment
The price is per person not per ear.  No pensioner concessions or medicare rebates apply.  We require payment on the day of the appointment via debit card, cash, direct deposit or PayID.

A call out fee of $80 will be charged if there is no wax, or wax removal cannot proceed due to medical contraindications; non compliance of the customer to instruction; or withdrawal of consent for the procedure during the appointment. 

Wax softening agents can be used a few days before the consult for your comfort and for best results.  However do not apply any drops if you suspect a burst eardrum or ear infection, and in these cases keep the ear dry.  

If all debris is not able to be removed on the day of the appointment, a treatment plan will be negotiated with the customer on a case by case basis.
